north of Sandpoint, Ponderay is home to numerous commercial developments , including the Bonner Mall, Wal-Mart, and several new car dealerships. It has become a strong regional commerce hub and has a continued strong development presence in Bonner County.
Known by some as "The Little City That Can", Ponderay continues to attract new businesses to this area. Primarily retail based with lodging, auto sales, food and consumer goods comprising the majority of commercial activity.
