Indian Point, Idaho Heading almost due south is the western portion of the Green Monarchs.
In the center is Indian Point, a favorite landmark for area fishermen. The point to the right is known as Windy point, for obvious reasons. The communities of Lakeview and Kilroy Bay are to the right of Windy Point and out of this view. Lake Pend Oreille is approximately 1,000 feet deep in this section of the lake.
The U.S. Navy does submarine research in this area of the lake. The research is primarily for underwater acoustic testing.
