Round Lake State Park, Sandpoint Idaho Looking down on Round Lake which is approximately 15 miles southwest of Sandpoint. A great beach, hiking trail and campground make this a favorite. There is a nice fishing dock adjacent to the beach and campground where anglers routinely catch their limit of Idaho rainbow trout. The hiking trail circles the lake with several areas to take photographs and maybe enjoy a little lunch.
