The Pend Oreille Arts Council brings three different groups of artists to the Panhandle Bank Building venue this month in an exciting new exhibit.
The opening reception will be held Friday, April 18, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The show features 10 local masters whose work has achieved national and international recognition. Also featured will be the work of the six artists of the newly-formed River Bend Artists Guild and of elementary school children in the Kaleidoscope Art Program.
The exhibit will run from April 18 through June 6, 2014.
The 200 mile running relay or 140 mile walking relay, SPOKANE TO SANDPOINT (S2S) begins atop picturesque Mt. Spokane and winds through 50 miles of world class Centennial Trail, along 60 miles of property adjacent to waterfront, meanders through two National Forests en route to the finish line on the beach of Lake Pend Oreille in Sandpoint, Idaho.
